Noida International Airport Strengthens Regional Connectivity with Bus Routes Across Uttar Pradesh

National, November 20, 2025

Noida International Airport (NIA) is steadily emerging as a key transportation hub, enhancing regional connectivity across Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states. With a focus on providing seamless and reliable travel for passengers, NIA is expanding its ground transport network through strategic collaborations with state transport authorities.

As part of this ongoing effort, NIA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to introduce direct bus services from the airport to major cultural, religious, and economic destinations such as Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Aligarh, Mathura – Vrindavan and Hathras.

These services will ensure easy, convenient access for travellers arriving at or departing from the airport.

Key routes under this partnership include:

  • NIA – Mathura – Vrindavan – NIA: Connecting passengers to the holy cities of Mathura and Vrindavan
  • NIA – Agra – NIA: Providing direct access to the historic city of Agra
  • NIA – Hathras – NIA: Linking the airport to the major city of Hathras
  • NIA – Aligarh – NIA: Connecting the airport to Aligarh, renowned for its academic institutions and manufacturing industry

The network will also extend to destinations including Bulandshahr, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Hapur, Moradabad, and Shikohabad, ensuring last-mile connectivity across Uttar Pradesh.

Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport, said, “We are delighted to partner with UPSRTC to make travel to and from Noida International Airport even more convenient. Seamless ground connectivity is essential to delivering a superior passenger experience.”

This collaboration builds on NIA’s existing partnerships with Haryana Roadways, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, and Delhi Transport Corporation, enabling direct connectivity to cities such as Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Haridwar.

Through these combined efforts, Noida International Airport is now connected to over 25 cities across four states, creating a robust multimodal transport network.

In its first phase, the airport will handle 12 million passengers annually. Upon completion of the fourth phase, capacity will increase to 70 million passengers per year.
